African wildlife is truely amazing. There are also some breathtaking landscapes. The trick is to capture images of the wildlife within one of those great landscapes. It happens occaisionally. More often you end up with stunning animals with drab dusty scrub brush in the background. It is at this point that some careful pre-planning and then creative post production are required in order to elevate the image from nice animal portrait to a piece of fine art.
I am excited to finally be able to give my African Photo Safari presentation to the Napanee photo club. It was postponed from February because of nasty weather. The club meets at the County Memorial Building, 41 Dundas St. West, at 7:30. I would love to see you there.
